Remains of the BGE 1920 Power Plant

Now an empty patch of gravel, this site used to be home to an abandoned power plant. This power plant was built in 1906 and once played a huge role in Baltimore’s economy before closing in 1993. After closing it was used in the Bruce Wilis/Brad Pitt film “12 Monkeys”. While the plant is gone, the history remains.
