For the experienced paddler looking for a challenging experience rewarded by truly unique views of Fort McHenry National Monument, Baltimore Cruise Terminal, and the Fort McHenry Water Trail, with a glimpse of local wildlife enjoying the nearby wetlands, it is sure to be a memorable experience!
This Water Trail is rated for advanced paddlers (with boat-traffic and open-water experience) and is a 4.5-mile perimeter paddle and shipping channel crossing spanning both the northwest and middle branches of the Baltimore Harbor. This water trail can be accessed by either the Locust Point Kayak Launch, Canton Waterfront Park, or Broening Park and serves as a major connection for the Blueway linking the northwest water trails with the middle branch water trails.
