Middle Branch Water Trail
MIDDLE BRANCH WATER TRAIL
Beginner | 2.4 miles
DESCRIPTION:
The Middle Branch Water Trail is a natural loop located in a quieter part of the blueway, sheltered by Hanover Street Bridge and surrounded by wetland ecosystems. This makes it an ideal water trail for beginners and birdwatchers, as you are likely to see herons, egrets, eagles, and other wildlife while still having access to other more adventurous water trails.
This Water Trail is rated for beginner paddlers and is a 2.4-mile perimeter paddle along the secluded shorelines of Middle Branch Park & Port Covington Park. This water trail can be accessed by either the Middle Branch Park, Ferry Bar Park, or Broening Park, and connects to the Middle Branch Water Trail and to the rest of the Blueway water trails further on.
